Our Mission
To build a musical foundation that will last a life time! We strive to encourage and facilitate the natural musical instincts of young children through purposeful music making, movement and rhythmic activities that provide foundational musical training, experiences and exposure to a wide variety of musical styles that promote a lifelong love and joy of learning.
Our Experience
Roann Keen has been teaching music to young children most of her adult life. She is a trained and certified early childhood music educator and has her early childhood education teaching credentials. Music and young children are her main passions in life as well as being a fiber artist, raising alpaca's and a big garden. She is grandmother to 5 children one of whom is also teaching the Musikgarten curriculum!
Our Curriculum
We work to stay on top of early childhood research and choose our curriculum accordingly. The Musikgarten curriculum we have chosen provides a comprehensive and sequential program for children from birth to about 9 years, when what they are learning is so crucial to the rest of their lives. We have seen children through the whole process and believe that Musikgarten does it best.
